The stick handled design is only found on a few of the fiestaware pieces (the original stick handled creamer, the demitasse stick handled cups, and the french casserole that was released during the promotional campaigns of the early 1940s). The piece was highly labor intensive to make, consisting of four individually cast parts, with the finial and the handle being hand applied. The spout hole was even created manually and can thus vary in size. Originally intended for after dinner drinks of hot chocolate or strong coffee served in accompanying demitasse stick handled cups, the AD coffee pot is one of the most desirable shapes in the entire vintage line and collectors should prepare to pay a commanding price to add one to their collections. (Especially hard to find in turquoise)
7 1/2" tall from base to top of finial and 7" wide across the body to the end of the stick handle.
Marked on the bottom in the impressed in mold mark: "fiesta HLCo USA".
Circa 1936-1942: Made in the first six original colors only. Hard to Find in Turquoise.
