The tab handled cream soup bowl is one of the most iconic designs of the Fiestaware pottery line. Highly used in advertising of the period this bowl is extremely desirable and always a favorite among collectors. The foot is hand turned and the lug handles were applied by hand. Discontinued shortly after the 1959 release of medium green, the cream soup bowl in medium green can be one of the hardest pieces to find, commanding high prices.
6 1/2" wide from tab to tab x 2 1/4" high, 5 1/16" from rim to rim and 2 13/16" across bottom foot.
Marked with the impressed in the mold HLC icon "fiesta MADE IN U.S.A"
Circa 1936-1959: Made in all eleven original colors, but very rare in Medium Green. Red discontinued by the end of 1942.
